Why don't you sell digital class & friend photos?
At Inspire Photography, we take the privacy of our customers seriously.
Class photos are not offered digitally because they have multiple children present with their names printed with it. This is the same for friends photos: while the names aren't present, there are multiple children in the photograph.
Remember, not all parents want to have their child visible on social media. Please stop and think before uploading.

Copyright infringements - Why we have watermarks
Occasionally we are notified of people using Inspire's School & Kindergarten photographs illegally.
Commonly seen on social media, clients access the gallery to view their child and save photos directly from the website.
This is known as a copyright infringement, ex. copying, selling, printing, or communicating our work without Inspire Photography's permission.
In order to discourage this we have had to implement watermarks for all School & Kindergarten Photography.
Punishment for breaching copyright:

Punishment for breaching copyright:
- Civil court proceedings; and
- Criminal proceedings. Parliament in 1994 intended, by setting new high fines (up to $150,000) and prison (up to five years) as a penalty, to clearly indicate that profiting by stealing the work of others should be treated seriously by the Police and the Courts.
It's just a digital file, what value does that have?
We believe a digital file has the highest value. You can print, email, post the images as much as you like while having a digital copy forever.
Does the copyright expire?
Copyright automatically applies at the creation of the work (the taking of the photograph) and lasts for the photographer's lifetime plus 50 years.
