Bridget and James chose a stunning homestead for their wedding celebrations last month. Te Parae is a homestead set in stunning grounds just outside Masterton. James and his groomsmen got ready for the day at Te Parae and enjoyed a spot of golf and shooting in the morning while Bridget and her girls were pampered. The Masterton weather was perfect and following the ceremony the guests enjoyed the al fresco setting. The bridal party had all their photographs taken within the grounds, isn't the boat shed gorgeous....

As promised we have a bit more of Karlie and Jason's wedding for you today. Karlie's day started at The Wellesley Boutique Hotel where she got ready and Penny captured some stunning portraits on the staircase. Meanwhile Jason and his groomsmen got ready and headed out to Boomrock for some clay shooting before the wedding. Karlie grew up in Tasmania and Jason in New Zealand, so they chose Boomrock for it's beautiful views over the Tasman sea. They had a glorious sunny day with a little Wellington wind that almost claimed Karlie's veil at one point. Flower crowns, chalkboard messages and a candy buffet - we will let the images of the rest of the talking... ![]() Simon is often found out and about on a Saturday photographing families. It was through our family portraiture that we met Liz so it was a pleasure the photograph her wedding day this year. Lyn McGruddy created a stunning ensemble and hair and make up done by Rose Pauley of Brian Pauley Hairdressing to complete her look. From the start the couple were surrounded by friends and family as Rose also introduced the Liz and Peter to each other. Liz and Peter were married in an early evening ceremony at the James Cook Hotel. They then headed briefly to the Botanic Gardens to catch the beautiful late summer light. Here are a few images from their day including the bridal party in the gardens filled with colour... Karlie and Jason were married on the 1st of February at the ever stunning Boomrock. A little sneak peak of their day, more to come soon... Claire and Joe chose the beautiful surroundings of Orlando Country Estate for their wedding in March last year. Helen from Hellebore Design did the floral design for the bridal party, cake and tables tying the pastel theme together. Guests enjoyed the surroundings and entertainment including clay pigeon shooting while the bridal party had photographs taken within the expansive grounds. Here is a view of the festivities.. Simon and Kelly had a lovely intimate celebration at Lansdowne House in Masterton. It was a perfect venue for their wedding day which was very much a family affair. Following the ceremony Simon and Kelly headed to Queen Elizabeth Park and the spot where they had their first date, very romantic! At the reception everyone enjoyed a beautiful cake made by Kellys Mum and entertainment from a live band. Lucy and Cameron were married at Saint Hilda's Church in Upper Hutt and held their reception at the Royal Wellington Golf Club in Heretaunga. The rainbow theme weaved the whole day together from the bridal party attire to the lively reception. We shared a sneak peak of the fun a couple of weeks ago, here is more of that gorgeous colour... Zoe and Adam had to change their location after Erskine in Island Bay closed it's doors. They decided on the iconic Wellington venues of Old St Paul's and The Boatshed and it worked out beautifully on the day. Penny and Simon were there to capture the morning preparations through to the dancing and a final evening shot under the stars... Lucy & Cameron were married on the 9th of January. They held their reception at the beautiful Royal Wellington Golf Club. Just had to share the gorgeous colours of their bridal party, more of their wedding to come soon... Robyn and Joel travelled from their Edinburgh home to get married in Wellington on the 4th of January this year. Their ceremony took place at Old St Paul's then the bridal party headed off to the Botanical Gardens for formal photographs. The reception followed at The Wharewaka Function Centre on Wellington's waterfront where guests enjoyed traditional CĂ©ilidh dancing. This is a view of their 50's inspired day. |
