Chris & Ange’s Wedding, 6 March 2010

Chris and Ange were married at the very cute St Christopher’s Presbyterian Church in Seatoun.  They continued to have fun with their bridal party in Karaka Bay with some time on the beach for a picnic and some romantic shots using the distinctly Wellington backdrop.  Ange’s dress came from Brides on Thorndon and her and the bridesmaids flowers from Juliette Florist.  The evening was danced away at The Boatshed down on the Wellington waterfront.

Amy & David’s Wedding, 27 February 2010

Amy and David had a lovely wedding day at Murdoch James Estate in Martinborough. David’s family, who made the journey from Ireland, were not disappointed with the weather, wine or food. Amy and her bridesmaids wore dresses designed and made by Voon bridal and looked stunning in the vineyard surroundings. Amy and David’s wedding package was a 2009 Wedding Show Special. With the 2010 Wedding Show just around the corner be sure to seek us out and see what special we have on offer this year.

Donna & Tapio’s Wedding, 20 February 2010

It was a beautiful day for Donna to make her grand helicopter entrance to Pencarrow Lodge for her wedding to Tapio. The guests all arrived by bus, and Tapio and their daughter Eva where already waiting. With a death defying turn before landing I can still hear the shrill delighted laughter from Donna, her mum and bridesmaid Kate. The ceremony was stunning on the edge of the lawn with the Cook Straight in the background. Again it was a great combination of Voon Wedding dresses and Woodstock flowers. The bridal party enjoyed a picnic down by the lighthouse, beautifully made up by the Lodge. We left as the reception started and as the sun went down over the Kaikoura ranges.

Kylie & Ben’s Wedding, 30 January 2010

Kylie and Ben had a wonderful wedding day at The Woolshed on Ohariu Farm. We had already discovered its beauty during their engagement shoot late last year, you can see their photos here. Jude and the team at The Woolshed did another fabulous job of creating a wonderful wedding venue. Kylie’s dress was from Princess Bride and there were many themes throughout the wedding, from specially designed t’shirts to personalised parasols. All made for an individualised wedding.

Martinborough put on a stupendous day in a month full of bad weather and Tirohana Estate was a fantastic location for the ceremony, wedding photos and reception. Monique was stunning in her Corston Couture dress from Sydney and the bridal party were a fun and easy group that made for a relaxed and entertaining day.

Chris & Sue’s Wedding, 16 January 2010

A good friend of ours Sue and her fiance Chris were married at Aylstone Retreat in Martinborough. Another divine and elegant teaming up with Woodstock flowers and Voon Wedding dresses. The soft rain did nothing to dampen the excitement of the day and Robert and Penny at Aylstone Retreat created a beautiful and cosy indoor setting for Chris and Sue’s wedding ceremony. The reception room was decorated in pink and white and each guest had their own wishbone to pull – a nice and personal touch.
