Paula and Brendon chose the gorgeous and cosy Wallaceville Church in Whitemans Valley near Wellington for their wedding. Their small gathering of close family, friends and plenty of kids filled the small church perfectly. Paula put a lot of her own heart into everything to do with her wedding, she made her own dress, the bridesmaids dresses, the groom and groomsmens ties, the children’s gift bags and the unique topper for the wedding cake. All these personal touches made for a memorable and personal wedding.

The beginning of our 2009 wedding season has started with a very hot bang.
Fridays wedding started at a fantastic little bar in Upper Hutt, The Boiler Room.

The Boiler Room
The owners of the boiler room kindly let us have free reign in their adjoining cafe, The Mayfair, an old movie theatre.

After the photo session, Ali and her bridesmaid Claire arrived in style at Wallaceville House in Ali’s fathers very cool sports car. Even though it was only a two seater they were very creative with their arrival.

Having the photos before the wedding meant Ali and Dave could enjoy everyones company in the late afternoon sun.

The next day saw us heading over the hill to Martinborough, to what felt like the hottest day in history. Full credit to Hill Cook for doing a superb job on the make-up, not once did the bride look too hot or shiny and full credit to the bride, Kim, for not allowing the heat to stop her having the bestest day.

The wedding took place at The Old Manse and the speeches were held on the veranda while guests gathered around on picnic blankets.

The bride and groom then entertained their guests with their first dance to Elvis Presleys “Viva Las Vegas”
